Part 1 students

The deadline for changing modules for the 2025/2026 academic year has closed.

For all returning students who will be taking modules in the 2026/2027 academic year, the deadline for changing Semester 1 and Semester 1/2 is Friday 09 October 2026 at 12:30pm (UK Time).

UG Part 2, 3 & 4

The deadline for changing modules for the 2025/2026 academic year has closed.

For all returning students who will be taking modules in the 2026/2027 academic year, the deadline for changing Semester 1 and Semester 1/2 is Friday 09 October 2026 at 12:30pm (UK Time).

If you want to change a Languages for All (LfA) module to another LfA module you may make such changes up to Semester 1 week 4 (12:30pm on the Friday).

If you wish to change from a Languages for All module to another Semester 2 module this must be done by week 7 (12:30pm on the Friday) of Semester 1.

Postgraduate Taught

The deadline for changing modules for the 2025/2026 academic year has closed.

If you have questions relating to your modules for 2025/2026 please contact the module selection team using Ask A Question.

Postgraduate students who are on programmes which will continue in September 2026 and will need to select optional modules for the 2026/2027 academic year, you will make your selection in September 2026. Any programmes with compulsory modules for 2026/2027, the modules will be added automatically to your student record.

If you have selected a Languages for All module to be taken in the 2026/2027 academic year, you will be sent an email to complete an application/placement test. 

You will need to complete the application/placement test to secure your place on your chosen language.   

IMPORTANT - Students who do not complete the application/placement test will be removed from the module.
